Mark Serafin, 54, and his son Jackson, 20, had been charged with multiple felonies including possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communications facility, according to previous reporting by Daily Voice

Now, it seems that the elder Serafin will be able to shed his criminal record after being approved by the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas for placement into the county Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program on Thursday, Oct. 3, according to court documents.

Mark Serafin will also have to pay all of his court and associated costs, undergo a mental health evaluation, and perform 50 hours of community service, court records state.

Meanwhile, Jackson Serafin had his pre-trial conference and his guilty plea continued to Tuesday, Nov. 19 for his drug trafficking charges, according to court documents. The initial conference was originally scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 8.

Jackson Serafin is also facing motor vehicle theft charges in another case stemming from a Sept. 22, 2023 incident.

Authorities said Jackson Serafin sold them meth and cocaine during multiple controlled buys in 2023, prior reporting by Daily Voice states. Over the months-long investigation, detectives also learned that Mark Serafin "conspired with his son (...) to buy and sell" drugs.

Both men surrendered to police after warrants were issued for their arrests — Jackson Serafin on Jan. 9 and Mark Serafin on Wednesday, Feb. 28, authorities said at the time.

Jackson Serafin was released after posting $100,000 bail and his father was released on a $200,000 bond, according to court records.
